S/P2 Electric Vehicle Safety Now Available

The S/P2 Electric Vehicle Safety course is now available and has been added to the Automotive Service, Collision Repair and Refinish, and Heavy-Duty/Diesel bundles.

This 40-minute course contains the basics about electric vehicle safety and how you can stay safe in the shop when working around these vehicles.

In this course, users will: learn about the history and current outlook for electric vehicles; understand common terminology about electric vehicles and how to identify them; learn about battery safety and risks associated with accidents and other events; understand the personal protective equipment (PPE) required when working with electric vehicles; learn about the tools associated with high-voltage systems and components; know how to disable a high-voltage system in an electric vehicle; recognize the importance of using manufacturer and other safety resources when working with electric vehicles; and MORE.
